Abolish Golf are a four-piece band based in Edinburgh who make danceable, punky indie music. Originally part of scene staple The Party Slogan, guitarist Jamie, bassist Cameron and drummer Calum, who all share vocal duties, have refined the melodic craft of their previous outfit while crafting a more frantic and confrontational sound with Abolish Golf that still retains new-wave and post-punk influences. 2025 saw them add guitarist Sean and perform support slots for formidable Irish folk-punks The Deadlians, as well as the raucous Private Function from Melbourne, plus headlining the T at 3 festival on the Cowgate. They rounded off the year with the release of the single “You Will Never Know”, a dancey alternative rock-influenced track with rumbling synth bass and jagged guitar hooks.
