Seven-piece “London prog” act The Orchestra (For Now) combined avant-garde rock theatrics, intricate classical interplay, pastoral baroque indie, post-hardcore dynamics, and jazz-tinted freakouts They played several sold-out headline dates before even officially releasing a single. Having honed their sound on the London live circuit, they released their EPs Plan 75 and Plan 75 in 2025, igniting a fire amongst critics and their fanbase-cum-congregation alike. In Summer 2025 they played main stage at Green Man Festival and a packed tent at End Of The Road Festival, then a sold out headline at London’s ICA. NME, DIY, Rolling Stone, So Young, Clash, DORK, and Billboard are all in awe of their unique sound and story, and their astounding potential.
Potpourri invites their biggest headliners to date to the Sneaky Pete’s sweatbox. Edinburgh’s favourite experimental queer night welcomes G Jones & Eprom + Parkinson White to the booth. Potpourri’s High Beams, our custom club lighting rig and a signature hand-made incense scent will, of course, be there too!
When G Jones and Eprom collide, the result is a masterclass in sound design and raw energy. Touring in support of their latest collaborative work, Disk Utility, the duo fuses jungle, acid, and techno into a high-octane dismantling of the traditional DJ set. From the glitch-laden eruptions of “1000 Cuts” to the club-ready euphoria of “By Your Side,” witness two of bass music’s most forward-thinking minds pushing the dance-floor into uncharted territory.

Night is about to fall, the day slowly fades away, and it is this twilight time that Magda Drozd’s latest album inhabits. Divided by Dusk, the Polish composer’s third solo album, carries the promise of a crepuscular otherworldliness. Inspired by Drozd’s stays in Japan, its rich tradition in ambient and experimental music and a collaboration with Japanese flautist Rai Tateishi, as well as a renewed engagement with her roots in Poland and its folk and ancient history, her work is a form of sonic excavation. Layers of dark-ambient tones intertwine with field recordings, textured violin, and luminous folk motifs, invoking long-gone, unspecified rituals.
The album freely interprets traditional folklore, unleashing the ghosts of past cultures we inherit through music passed down to us. Paired with experimental ambient sonic textures, the album carries a magnificent, wandering, melancholic air. The compositions take on an incantatory dimension, welcoming us into a liminal world—one filled with buried treasures.
Magda Drozd, born in Warsaw, is a composer, violinist, and sound artist living in Zürich and London. She has been releasing her music on the Swiss label Präsens Editionen since 2019 and further releases have followed on Hallow Ground for their compilation ‘Epiphanies’, on Flaming Pines for the concept album ‘Cassette Album’ by Salomé Voegelin, and on her own label Rivercore, a platform for experimental music.
