The Mirror Dance

September 20th, 2025

Right enough of that special guest malark. This time it’s just us taking you round, round and round all nite long.

We’ve been DJing together just as DJs recently and thinking ‘we quite like this’ and ‘it’s nice’ so we thought we’d take the reigns at our spritual home and welcome the autumnal tones (mulled jagerbombs).

Deep renegade proto junk funk house and maybe even some guitars for the old heads. Let’s swing.

YBZ invites:
CHEETAH

September 17th, 2025

In the midst of the jungle revival, one name that’s become impossible to ignore is the London born, Bristol-based DJ and producer Cheetah.

First getting into production at just 14 years, he devoured hours of YouTube tutorials and experimented with making his own “Brockhampton type beats” on a basic version of FL Studio bought by his mum.In 2019, once he started going to raves he was given an education in dance music and naturally found himself drawn towards jungle rather than jump-up D&B, citing new school labels like Subcode Records, Globex Corp and Future Retro and artists including Tim Reaper, Sully, Kid Lib, Samurai Breaks and We Rob Rave as the foundational inspiration for where his own music was headed.

Fast forward to 2025, his distinctive, high energy tracks that are cheeky, loud, sexy and fast all at once are taking the scene by storm with “X-Rated” and “Freaks” leading the charge. Last year, alongside a collaborative EP with Samurai Breaks SSBB012 and the self released Freaks EP, he also debuted at major festivals like Glastonbury, Outlook and Boomtown, and began touring all across Europe regularly brushing shoulders with the Singularity UK and Super Sonic Booty Bass crews.
