Machinedrum is one of the most prolific an groundbreaking producers of our times, and a real Sneaky Pete’e favouite to boot since his live show here was amongst the best we’ve ever done. Since the late 00’s he’s floored us with maximalist edits, austere breakbeat, credible pop, and otherworldly hip hop.
Also knowns as Tstewart / Aden / Syndrone, Machinedrum is also half of J-E-T-S, half of of Sepalcure and half of Dream Continuum.
He has releases on Ninja Tune, Planet Mu, LuckyMe, Hotflush, and Merck Records. He’s a producer and collaborator for Freddie Gibbs, Tinashe, Dawn Richard, Theophilus London, Azealia Banks, Rochelle Jordan, Logic, Jesse Boykins III, Melo-X, Jamie Lidell, Rosie Lowe and many other talented artists.
Remix credits include Kelis, Solange, SBTRKT, Rudimental, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Bonobo and DJ Shadow.
Redstone Press & Friends returns to Sneakys for our final party of 2024.
A weekend of firsts – Tammo’s first time in Scotland, first time playing at Sneaks, first time all of us meeting in person and (hopefully) the first time he tries a deep fried Mars Bar…
Tammo Hesselink likes to play around with many different rhythms. In terms of both what he makes and what he spins, he is drawn to stripped-back building blocks that allow him to get creative and find new sounds in what he combines. Whether that’s the bass-driven swagger of UK sounds or the more psychedelic and loopy end of techno, what he does is mix it all into something unpredictable yet compelling. It is this signature style that has earned him resident status at revered club De School and Garage Noord as well as releases on labels like Nous’klaer Audio, Delsin, Blank Mind and of course, us!
He has been deeply rooted in the Amsterdam scene for years now. Almost right from the off he headed down his own path by setting up The Invariants, a production alias and label which soon got a reputation as a well-respected project known for supple and spacious house and deeper techno works. Now he releases under his own name, confident that he is getting his own personal message across just as he would like.
His knack of encouraging dancers to get lost between the beats, somewhere off grid, is what makes him a firm favourite with clued-up crowds everywhere from the US to Australia, and of course at Amsterdam’s Garage Noord which he now calls home.
Lewis Lowe & Pseudopolis pair up for what is now a very rare b2b as Redstone Press and will be warming the club from 11pm.
Arthi presents Arthi Hard at Fruitmarket Warehouse, part of Sneaky Pete’s 2024 Installation Series.
Arthi’s continent-crossing sets fuse high-octane club sounds from dancehall to baile funk to garage, bassline and beyond. Her playful skanks behind the decks capture a love for DJing that she first developed through performing as a dancer for artists including Beyoncé, Dave and Amaarae.

Dublin-born singer and composer Rachael Lavelle’s debut album ‘Big Dreams’, released via her Rest Energy label, has quickly seen her become recognised as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging talents.
Floating in a world that is at once full of irony and honesty, Rachael examines the essential things: sleeping, eating, work and the search for love, reimagining them in a dream-like musical landscape of luscious synths, manipulated vocals, cinematic sound design, strings, woodwind and electronic beats.
It’s seen the album be nominated for Ireland’s prestigious Choice Music Prize Album of the Year. Lavelle has also been tapped up to tour with breakthrough Irish trailblazers Lankum and CMAT, as well as taking part in the Sorcha Richardson curated ‘Imagining Ireland’ at London’s The Barbican and Dublin’s National Concert Hall alongside SOAK, Ye Vagabonds, Aby Coulibaly and more.
The Fierce & The Dead, originating in London 14 years ago, have gradually evolved into one of the most celebrated cult bands of the past decade. Initially an instrumental group, the addition of bassist Kevin Feazey as lead vocalist in recent years has brought a fresh dimension to their sound. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, including psychedelic rock, vintage metal records, post-rock, progressive rock, broken an alogue synths, and shoegaze, the band has crafted a unique sonic identity.Their latest album and first to feature vocals, “News From The Invisible World,” has garnered widespread critical acclaim, earning a prominent spot on Prog Magazine’s list of the best albums of 2023 (second onlyto Steven Wilson). Additionally, it has secured placements on various other year-end lists, including Classic Rock Magazine’s critics list and readers polls. The anticipation for their upcoming UK tour, featuring live mellotron by TomHunt, is evident in the sold-out UK dates, booked months in advance. This tour marks their inaugural festival headline appearances.
Miss World and Club Sylkie lock hearts behind the booth once more, bringing two shimmering stars of bass music to Cowgate’s favourite Sweatbox ?.???
We’re delighted to welcome Paris based DJ and producer Beatrice M to Sneaky Pete’s for their Scottish debut. The Bait label head will bring their deeply intricate selections that meld together dubstep influenced atmospheres and textures with techno inspired, driving rhythms
Joining Beatrice on the bill is Dublin’s EMA, whose sets showcase a spectrum of sounds routed within bass music – marrying together deep, dubby vibrations with energetic and percussive cuts. EMA’s last set at Club Sylkie back in 2022 brought a special heat to that Thursday night in August, packed out with breakbeat and grimey magic.
Opening the club is Miss World’s Feena and Club Sylkie’s xivro – mischief makers and dub delinquents frequently found dabbling across Scotland’s central belt.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome him back for our Installation Series at Fruitmarket, where like our previous shows, we’re bringing in some incredible production to match this unique city centre venue.
