Maintaining the sense of vulnerability and nostalgia that made his earlier releases on ubiquitous raw house labels Shall Not Fade and clipp.art so cathartic, on his latest run of releases 1-800 GIRLS offers up a warming concoction of ravey breaks and sentimental sonics that prove he’s a producer just as proficient at making club tracks to dance or cry to.
