Club Signal returns to our Edinburgh home Sneaky Pete’s after our capacity nights with Dr Banana and the Wobbly Mob records, this time we’ve recruited two behemoths of Scotland’s underground. We’re delighted to welcome Aberdeen’s wunderkind Nina Stanger alongside the ever-elusive Nightlark for an all night long versus in Edinburgh’s world-renowned sweatbox. Both hailing from the grim North these two have garnered wide recognition as the very best Scotland has to offer. Aberdeen’s Nina Stanger boasts a rich catalogue of club experiences, despite her young age. Highlights include sets for Boiler Room, SWG3, the Bongo Club and notably an interview for the well-respected, music-centred publication Ransom Note. As a prolific digger, her sets display intricate genre-fluid selections, spanning across jungle, electro, touching all corners of bass-heavy dance music. This lady is so tight on the decks, she even had our very own chancellor of Duchy of Lancaster popping and locking to her silky-smooth selections. Rest assured we’re buzzing to host her Sneaks debut. Edinburgh based artist the Nightlark (also known as the most shadiest local DJ in the world) is commonly considered one of the most technically gifted selectors north of Hadrian’s wall. He is often found searching shady internet record groups for obscure rarities, perusing dusty second-hand bins and mixing up a storm at your local function. A mystery to people who don’t know him and an even greater mystery to those who do, expect outrageous blends traversing the club-ready sounds of Baltimore house, Italo disco, dark reggaeton, jungle and Detroit techno. This man has literally supported or booked every major DJ in the world and is responsible for every major event in Scottish DJ history. All we can say is dress to sweat. These two are no strangers to sharing a stage together. They contribute a monthly show to Edinburgh’s EH-FM, where they regularly display their impressive musical knowledge. It’s a b2b experience we’ve personally been wanting to see for quite some time and we’d love you to join us for this immersive night of pure musical silliness.
