Stag & Dagger Festival, Scotland’s original, most loved multi-venue festival, and biggest new music showcase, finally arrives in Edinburgh. As always, Stag & Dagger delivers an exciting and diverse line-up.

In their first wave of announcements, promoters PCL, Broadcast and Sneaky Pete’s reveal a fresh-line up headlined by West Yorkshire’s electronic-post-punkers WORKING MEN’S CLUB alongside indie-rockers THE SHERLOCKS in Glasgow and Bristol’s alt-no-waver BILLY NOMATES in Edinburgh and many many more TBA.

Stag & Dagger is the best place in Scotland to catch new acts. Previous guests include LIZZO, CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN, ED SHEERAN, MAC DEMARCO, DMAs, FRIGHTENED RABBIT, JUNGLE, COURTNEY BARNETT, TWILIGHT SAD and WARPAINT.

Using some of Scotland’s favourite indoor venues, Edinburgh’s event is centred around the buzzing world-famous Cowgate district, and Glasgow’s edition is around the city’s late-night music hub: Sauchiehall Street. The bookers are partnering with the best festivals, blogs and local creative organisations at each venue stage.

The second wave of announcements will follow in the coming weeks, with more internationally recognised names. Scottish acts have always played to engaged and enthused big crowds at Stag & Dagger. In keeping with its long-standing ethos, the forthcoming announcement of these acts will augment an already impressive line-up.
