Aquelarre: Maja Pa (Brave) Pako Vega (Sounds Of Ogigia)
Aquelarre is a club night for curious minds that focuses on experimental club music with free-spirited Dj’s, local and international.
This concept emerges amidst the pandemic with the aim of questioning the dynamics of clubbing, leaning towards a more explorative approach as opposed to functional dance music.
Maja Pa will make her debut in the UK after having recently played for Dekmantel Selectors in Tisno with a large number of respectable musicians in her mother country, Croatia.
Influenced by many experimental, synth, wave and industrial bands, 80’s – 90’s production, classical music and brothers tape collections, Maja began her DJ career just a few years ago. As a part of small but powerful Zagreb based bRAVE crew – together with Ikonal and Le Chocolat Noir, she presents interesting, energetic, sometimes eclectic sets that can vary between techno, electro, EBM, acid, avant-garde and various experimentations.
Pako Vega, head of the mysterious label and shows Sounds Of Ogigia will be warming up the night with a selection of unearthly music.
