Lionoil: D. Tiffany & C-Shaman
We’re delighted to welcome heavyweight Montreal based powerhouse D. Tiffany passes through Sneaky Pete’s booth with Heaters controller C-Shaman on the warm up.
Originally hailing from Vancouver, D. Tiffany a.k.a. Sophie Sweetland is a tirelessly hard working fixture in the Canadian scene. Her prolific productions are difficult to pin down: emerging in 2014 with a string characteristically Vancouver moody house cassettes, later releases range from the hazy street soul of her 2017 ‘Blue Dream’ 12″ (which first caught our attention), to the straight up electro of ‘Feel U’ to the deftly chopped junglist breaks of ‘Sun Trip’ – a track that has been on loop all summer. In fact she has been releasing breakbeat under her ‘DJ Zozi’ alias since 2016 (way before it was cool) and more recent releases as ‘Ambien Baby’ with NAP stylistically span the whole lot. All the while, firing out quality records on her fledgling label Planet Euphorique at some rate…
