DEFCON ONE, Davy Cowan & The Hose Beast, The Jacarandas
Defcon One, a 4-piece pop/rock group from invergordon nestled in the highlands, are a group of 4 mates who love to play music together. Having played the music scene locally for almost 4 years now, the lads have started to cast the net further afield and have now played all over Scotland, with the “Life on TV” tour in April their biggest tour to date. The band released their E.P. “Life on TV” in April and is available to download on Itunes and Amazon.
Sporting a sound that takes influence from many genres, drawn in from the very different influences shared by the band members themselves, their set is full of catchy riffs, lyrical hooks and pounding bass lines to keep the listener occupied, with great variety in their music!
Having supported the likes of Twin Atlantic (4 times!), Hip Parade, Sound of Guns, Brigade and The Thirst, the lads have had some success stories over the years, but ultimately they are out to get their music heard!
