The Passing Sages:
Soulful songs with melody and harmony in abundance, driven by classic grooving and the odd bout of virtuoso guitar. Fife Funk Quintet The Passing Sages are a result of good, bad and indifferent life choices over the last two decades.
Jimi Get Your Funk On:
‘Jimi Get Your Funk On’ are a new Edinburgh based 9-piece funk band writing and performing their own music. Taking influence from bands such as Vulfpeck, Tower of Power and the legendary ‘Jimi Hendrix Experience’, we combine funk with a touch of psychedelia, rock and jazz fusion, creating our own unique version of groove and funky goodness.
Bringing together members from all around Europe, the band is a collective of different backgrounds and stories reflected in our music and performance. There’s always something going on during the performances, be it walking amongst the audience to spontaneous salsa dancing amongst the crowd, we always try to get the audience involved!
