Felix And The Sunsets – Wrong Era Revival Party

To celebrate the release of their upcoming single ‘I Was Born In The Wrong Era’, Felix And The Sunsets will be playing their first headline show at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s for their Wrong Era Revival Party on Saturday 15th June.

Support TBA

Scottish “imaginative garage rockers” Felix And The Sunsets are a rock three-piece from Leith, Edinburgh consisting of brothers Felix (23) and Lukas Christie (22), and Jonnie Wallace (21). With influences from Jack White and Arctic Monkeys to The Stooges and The Velvet Underground, their music is a loud and electrifying new force in the Scottish scene.

Established in summer 2018, the band followed up their debut EP (Don’t Sleep, 2018) with the single Déjà Vu, a dark and atmospheric track that This Feeling added to their Best New Bands playlists on Spotify and Deezer. Their sound quickly won praise from Discovery Music who commented that “with grungy guitar riffs and one of a kind vocals, Felix And The Sunsets are creating a buzz in the Edinburgh Music scene.”

Their second single ‘Whose Happiness Is This?’ was also added to This Feeling’s Best New Bands Playlist and was played by Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio. Both singles, as well as a third song ‘Don’t Sleep’ from their debut EP have been played on RockSport Radio.

The group first live outing was as main support to DMS at Edinburgh’s prestigious Liquid Rooms, followed by main support to The Van T’s at a sold out Sneaky Pete’s for their This Feeling debut, with Mockit Music calling their set “a special performance” and “an onslaught of inspired garage rock”. They praised the group as “ultra-talented musicians” and the “powerful nature of the performance”.
