April Towers are an exciting new electro pop duo, channeling the lovely essence of seminal Australian label Modular Records.

“Sounding like the love child of Pet Shop Boys and Hot Chip, Their synth-pop sound has been thrilling audiences.” – Notion

“April Towers prove they have the energy for it all. Most likely to join Chuvches in the synth revolution” – DIY Magazine

“Merging gigantic synthpop glitter with the dark of post-punks like Interpol.” – The Line of Best Fit

Following the success of the recent winter 2015 tour culminating in a fully sold out show at Nottingham’s rescue rooms, April Towers announce a 7 date run before the announcement of new recordings to come shortly. The band have been busy in Assault and Battery Studios finishing off arguably their strongest work to date.

The band have seen unprecedented support for their singles ‘Arcadia’ and ‘No Corruption’, the latter of which was added to the BBC Introducing playlist. In fact, all April Towers singles have received support at Radio 1 thus far, including previous single ‘A Little Bit of Fear’, which has also featured on the official soundtrack for this year’s EA Sports flagship game ‘FIFA 16’.

April Towers consists of Alex Noble (vocals, guitars, keyboards) and Charlie Burley (production, samples, guitars, keyboards). The duo combine intelligent pop hooks reminiscent of Pet Shop Boys and Hot Chip with the electronic nuances of New Order and LCD Soundsystem – creating a synth-pop sound full of vibrancy and immediacy.
