ALLUSONDRUGS formed in the summer of 2012. Since then, their very individual take on a melding of psych-pop-shoegaze-grunge has caught the eyes and ears of the likes of Kerrang and Rock Sound, plus BBC’s Radio One and 6Music stations, as well as live audiences across the UK.
Late 2014 / early 2015 saw the band beginning to build a solid fan-base following high-profile support tours and shows with Enter Shikari, Marmozets, Lonely The Brave and Pulled Apart By Horses. An extensive period of headline touring through April / May 2015, a packed festival season across the summer, and a co-headline tour with fellow Yorkshiremen Brawlers, along with the release of the Magic College / Her Crown 7″ on Too Pure and the limited edition Am I Weird? CD EP only saw the buzz continue to build.
Allusondrugs close out 2015 with a tour supporting We Are The Ocean and a pair of “local” headline shows at Leeds The Library and Sheffield Leadmill.
PRESS TO MECO are the perfect synthesis of technical proficiency and attention grabbing bursts of energy. They are a progressive hardcore rock metal pop [insert genre here] band hailing from Crawley/Croydon; performing off-kilter, unreasonably catchy songs, full of twists and turns. Alternating vocals blending into 3-part harmonies, coming together with sometimes beautiful, sometimes forceful, always overwhelmingly powerful instrumental breakdowns. The ideal mix of technicality and catchiness delivered with pop sensibilities that are just plain fun.
MAX RAPTOR recently announced signing to indie label Hassle Records. The band, who are one of the most vital British rock bands combining rock n’ roll and a partisan punk attitude will be releasing the labels debut “Damage Appreciation EP” on 13th November.
“The EP ventures into the amalgamation that is British Political scene, depression in men in the 21st century, the resistible rise of right leaning extremist statesmen & finally the regurgitation of mainstream media production. The album will not be a far cry from this, almost an arm to it. With the plethora of dire circumstances around the World, it would be unjust to ignore them when we’re penning the new tracks.” Says the band.Buy Tickets
